Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) is the first indigenous Catholic religious Congregation in India, founded by three distinguished Acharyas of the Kerala church, Fr. Thomas Palackal, Fr. Thomas Porukara and Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a great visionary and educationist. Inspired and initiated by these three illustrious founders, the CMI Congregation has been involved in providing quality education to children and the youth in order to make them the promising citizens of tomorrow.
