Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) is the first indigenous Catholic religious Congregation in India, founded by three distinguished Acharyas of the Kerala church, Fr. Thomas Palackal, Fr. Thomas Porukara and Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a great visionary and educationist. Inspired and initiated by these three illustrious founders, the CMI Congregation has been involved in providing quality education to children and the youth in order to make them the promising citizens of tomorrow. Sacred Heart Province, RAJAGIRI, Cochin of the CMI Congregation, believes in the principles of excellence and service. JEEVASS CMI CENTRAL SCHOOL, ALUVA, yet another endeavour in the Rajagiri group of Educational Institutions, is governed by Jeevass CMI Educational and Charitable Trust promoted by ST.ANTONY’S MONASTERY.
Jeevass
The word ‘Jeevass’ means ‘life force’. The title denotes vitality, strong vibrations of life. Only that which is vibrant with fullness of life can impart life to others. The Bible says, “… that they may have life and have it abundantly”(Jn 10: 10). Jeevass is committed to impart fullness of life to all people through its different animation channels. JEEVASS CMI CENTRAL SCHOOL is committed to impart quality education in the light of CMI Vision of education at the secondary level. It aims at all-round development of the students according to the curriculum and pedagogy of ICSE system of schooling, which is rated to have the best syllabus among the various school systems in India.
